Crowdfunder live - help us reach our £20,000 target
Enabling people in Nottingham to discuss their response to climate change, and the City's aim to be carbon neutral by 2028, today saw the official launch of a crowd funder appeal helping to make the ‘2025 Nottingham Green Partnership Climate Assembly’ a reality.
With a target of £20,000, press and dignitaries were welcomed by members of Nottingham Green Partnership at the launch of the crowdfunder hosted at Nottingham College, a staunch supporter of the Climate Assembly.
What will the Crowdfunder monies be used to finance?
To-date, work on the assembly has been volunteer-led and to move to the next phase, the crowd funder will help finance:
widening participation through managing and organising invitations ensuring a truly representative sample of Nottingham's population attend the assembly
speakers with specialist knowledge of issues and solutions
facilitators to help the delegates discuss important evidence to make decisions on how to move forward on key questions
